    Andrew Southern, the Chairman of Southern Grove, has previously held executive positions at Hadley Property Group, Hadley Mace, Catesby Property Group, Countryside Properties and Mace Group. He has been in the construction and property sector for eighteen years, specialising in the delivery of large scale residential led mixed-use schemes. Andrew has a Masters degree in architectural engineering from the University of Leeds and Penn State in the USA. Andrew’s approach to development is always design led and sales focused. He has secured planning consent and built over 1000 residential units with a GDV in excess of £350m. He is as comfortable delivering high-end single dwellings as well as complex large-scale regeneration projects. His eye for detail, trust, honesty and integrity ensure that joint ventures and development management techniques are a speciality of his.

  • Tom Slingsby | Managing Director, Southern Grove

    Tom joined Southern Grove in 2014 and is wholly responsible for sourcing land and development opportunities. He has a BSc in Real Estate from the University of Reading and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2013. Prior to Southern Grove, Tom held positions at Bellway Homes and Hadley Property Group, where he successfully acquired multiple sites. Tom’s significant experience in land and development has enabled him to understand the requirements for high-end central London development as well as large-scale, mixed-use regeneration. Tom has excellent interpersonal skills and is a team player. He understands the value of property and how to add value through the planning process and design.
    His land acquisition skills are the bed rock of the Southern Grove business plan.

  • Ed Fisher | Managing Director, Future Generation

    Ed Fisher is Managing Director of Future Generation, Southern Grove’s mould breaking concept for the student accommodation sector. Future Generation will obtain planning for, build, manage and operate 10,000 beds of outstanding accommodation and networking facilities, with Ed responsible for the entire project lifecycle.  He joined the business in Spring 2016 from specialist student housing providers Amro Real Estate Partners, where he spent five years as Investment Director. Prior to which he oversaw £500m+ of lending as Associate Director at Barclays Real Estate.  Graduating in economics and holding professional banking and treasury qualifications, Ed provides a robust financial and commercial backbone to Southern Grove.
