With 24 years experience in the industry, Andrew oversees all Southern Grove and Future Generation real estate and construction activities. He specialises in large, regeneration and mixed-use schemes where he has overseen the planning and construction of a residential, student and hospitality portfolio in excess of £1Bn.

Tom leads the team from our global head office in London and focuses on working with landowners and local authorities, structuring deals to maximise returns for all stakeholders, which is the backbone of our business. Tom has previously worked at Bellway Homes and Hadley Property Group where his main focus was land acquisition. Tom has a BSc in Real Estate from the University of Reading and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor.

Tim oversees the operation of our student portfolio. Prior to this, Tim led all hospitality, design, and developments, focussing on serviced apartments and hotels. Tim's 25-year career was shaped at the two major UK construction consultancies, EC Harris and Mace overseeing the design and construction of new hotels and refurbishments for both the Radisson Hotel Group and Marriott International.

As group COO, Tarek takes responsibility for the day to day management of our office, and provides guidance on strategic business areas such as finance, investment, construction and operation for the Southern Grove Group. In addition, Tarek is responsible for the overall performance of our PBSA business unit (Future Generation), and in particular the management of our Joint Venture partners.

Laurence is an ACCA certified accountant who provides financial reporting to the board and corporate governance on all Southern Grove companies. Laurence has 30 years of experience in the industry and spent 13 years as Group Finance Director at Morgan UK where he assisted in building the brand to achieve an annual turnover of £90m.

Tiffany joins our team with years of experience in the sales industry. She is highly motivated and has a proven track record of delivering increased sales for the companies she represents. Speaking multiple languages she opens the line of communication between clients, customers and agents creating more personalised relationships.

Jim joins our team as Head of Operations for Future Generation’s PBSA portfolio. He will drive to ensure quality and efficiency is achieved across all assets in the portfolio. After completing a Ba in Business Studies at Manchester Business School, Jim moved into the asset management sector following a distinguished career as a Police Officer.

Taylor is responsible for the daily operations of the global head office in London and provides executive support to Andrew Southern and Tom Slingsby. Taylor previously worked in the property sector for 5 years at Berkeley Homes. Taylor has excellent interpersonal skills and understands the importance of an efficient organisation, attention to detail and loyalty to the team.

Jess is a part-qualified ACCA professional and Accounting & Finance graduate. She assists the finance team in initiating and implementing financial processes, preparation of management & statutory accounts. Jess previously worked at the Association of British Neurologists and Whitemoor Accountants.

Tom is the managing director of HiiLIFE, part of the Southern Grove Group. HiiLIFE provides bespoke technology solutions for both private and commercial clients. Before starting HiiLIFE Tom was Head of Sales for Samsung Technologies focusing on the display market. Tom’s spends most of his time generating sales leads for the business and driving the continued growth of the HiiLIFE brand.

Tom started his career with Southern Grove from our Sales and Marketing division, successfully delivering significant growth for our PBSA venture’s international market performance, as well as adding value to the day to day operations with his award winning student organisations experiences. After graduating from his MSc in Real Estate and Planning from The University of Reading, he moved towards Southern Grove’s operations and developments team, during which he worked as a project manager on Southern Grove’s super-prime developments.

Katie is our Social Media and Marketing Manager. Having previously worked in the travel industry, she is the driving force behind all of Southern Grove's social and marketing content across our group of companies.

Simon supports the team in communications with stakeholders and managing partners, currently focusing on our PBSA venture Future Generation. A fast learner with a wide range of international experiences, he is very adaptable and offers an analytical eye that adds depth and value to our operations across all Southern Grove ventures.
